Regular window cleaning helps to avoid the build-up of dirt and residue on the glass, meaning more light can get into your home or premises and can also improve its external appearance. We clean outside windows on houses and commercial buildings. In addition, we offer a conservatory cleaning service, gutter/rhone cleaning and painting, and builders cleans for those who have had work completed on their property.
Our industry has developed a safer method of cleaning windows through the use of long reaching telescopic poles (water fed poles), allowing windows to be cleaned from the safety of the ground.
✔ Better cleaning results: The purified HOT water means no chemicals or detergents are required. Windows will be left wet but don’t worry, they will dry naturally streak-free.
✔ Frames and sills are cleaned at the same time: Cobwebs and beasties that usually hide in the corner, will now be removed!
✔ Reduced disturbance to you and your garden: Although we do our best to keep disturbance to a minimum, ladder use causes some inevitable disturbance eg. rattling of the metal, dents in your lawn, etc. These problems are avoided with the use of water fed poles.

Ordinary tap water is full of sediments and minerals and whilst OK to drink, it’s these impurities that cause spotting and streaking when tap water is left to dry on a surface. Our onboard Water Fed Pole purification system combined with its HOT water boiler means a deeper clean – and – we can clean your windows in the cold Scottish weather!
The water is purified in the van by passing through a series of filters and resins, making use of natural processes like reverse osmosis and deionisation. We then use a soft bristled brush combined with HOT water to loosen the dirt off the glass and then jets of HOT pure water rinses the window. The pure water, as it has no impurities, dries to a spot-free finish leaving no marks behind.
Sticky tape and tough stains like paint, putty, varnish or old bird mess may need to be cleaned by hand, or detailed. Also, the windows must be cleaned regularly and even when they are, it normally takes the system two or three cleans before the windows look completely free of marks. This is because of impurities left on the glass and frames after the initial clean, or too much dirt deposited on the windows due to irregular cleaning. So, if you are looking for a one-off clean, or only like your windows cleaned twice a year, this may not be the system for you.
Although our primary method of window cleaning is from the reach and wash system, Diamond Window Cleaning are fully aware that this is not suitable for all situations and are fully trained to use the traditional method of applicator and squeegee and can quote for this type of work.
