We were asked by Airth Highland Games to work on the redevelopment of their website.
Based just outside Falkirk in Scotland, on the banks of the River Forth, their Highland Games are held on the fourth Saturday of July each year.
It has been a number of years since their website was produced and they were keen to modernise its look and feel. They also wanted to add online ticket sales functionality.
We built the new Airth Highland Games website using the WordPress platform as a content management system (CMS). We also provided user training for the client so that they can take control of their website content going forward. In addition, we produced a bespoke user guide covering all the features included on the website.
The website contains a wide range of information about the Games and also offers users the opportunity to sign up for events on the day.
The client had indicated in their initial brief that they would like to use Skiddle to sell tickets online. We helped the client set up the event and offered ongoing administrative support.
A ticket sales portal sits on the website homepage as well as a dedicated tickets sales page on the site.
As with all our websites, we also implemented a robust analytics solution using a combination of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Hotjar. In addition, we built an interactive reporting dashboard using Google Data Studio.
